The future fans of our web page may be wondering what this project is about. There are short summaries throughout the web page. However, we also have taken the unusual step to provide the bulk of the text of the application which won this project, as submitted in April 2022 with a few edits and shortening as indicated. This step is inspired by the publication of a ERC consolidator grant application on SSRN (POLILTSOLID by Achim Goerres), which helped writing this grant enormously.
