Principal Investigator

Dagmar Schiek is a Full Professor of EU Law and Labour Law at University College Dublin’s (UCD) Sutherland School of Law. With ample experience in teaching and research in multiple European universities, she came to academia from a background as comparative labour lawyer and anti-discrimination lawyer (in which capacity she also drafted gender equality laws for the German states of Berlin and Hessen). She has a PhD (1992) from University of Hamburg, and a Habilitation (1999) from University of Bremen, and held visiting positions with the University of Maastricht (The Netherlands), London School of Economics (UK), Kiyv Mohyla Academy, School of Law (Ukraine), University of Canterbury (New Zealand), University Viadrina Frankfurt Oder (Germany) & Melbourne University (Australia),

Audrey M. Plan

Audrey M. Plan

Postdoctoral researcher

Audrey holds a Bachelors in Law and Diploma in American Law from the Université de Clermont-Ferrand (France), and Masters Degree in European and International Studies from the College of International and European Studies in Bayonne (France). She completed her PhD in Political Science at Trinity College Dublin, and submitted her thesis Convergence and Divergence between the CJEU and the ECtHR: A theory of strategic international judicial dialogue in September 2023. Her PhD has received funding by Trinity’s Provost PhD Award as well as the Irish Research Council, and she received distinctions for both her teaching and her research as an early career academic.

Miljenko Sundov

Miljenko is an experienced researcher with a Master’s degree in Social Sciences from the University of Zadar (Croatia) and a Diploma in Project Management from the Algebra University (Croatia). He is well versed in digital technologies, media research and consulting, and is adept at managing research projects, analysing social phenomena and developing innovative solutions.
